About the Artist

Hi there! I am Katie Childers- Owner and lead bridal artist here at Abloom.

I have had a passion for makeup and hair styling beginning at young age. My passion and desire to learn more lead me to enrolling in cosmetology school in 2015. I worked in salons beginning at the start of my schooling and assisted in the wedding industry. Working for Ulta Beauty I developed my craft and learned even more about various cosmetics and product lines. Over all my interests in the cosmetology field, I felt most drawn to bridal makeup and special event hair styling. There is something truly special about having the honor to make brides feel beautiful on their wedding day. Seeing their smile when I hand them the mirror to take their first look is a moment I live for.

I do not take the responsibility of being a bridal artist lightly, your special day only happens once. I am always humbled and honored to share in your day.  I look forward to speaking with you soon, to make your day picture perfect!
